Litsea glutinosa, commonly known as Indian laurel, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the Lauraceae family. Litsea glutinosa is native to various regions of Asia, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and southern China. It typically grows in tropical and subtropical forests. It is a medium-sized evergreen tree that can reach heights of up to 20 meters. The leaves are glossy, elliptical to oblong in shape, and emit a lemony fragrance when crushed.
